As promised, we're now gonna get this train back on the tracks...
Wednesday, April 30th: As any Conscientious Reader is aware, the last five days have been nothing short of crazy. We were fully engaged in the boat crisis, physician and dentist appointments and, as a side note not previously mentioned, the stress and aggravation always attendant to picking up the rig after warranty work at the dealer.
We stayed two days during this time at a BEAUTIFUL park called The Vineyards, located at Lake Grapevine on the north side of the D-FW metro area. Owned by the Corps of Engineers and operated by the City of Grapevine, it sits squarely on the south shoreline, across the cove from the south marina. Lovely place; we have decided that we will be staying there when we arrive back home for Christmas, late November into December. Clean, well-managed by long-term WorkCampers (Google it if you are unfamiliar with the term) and right on the water...

This place is, for all intents and purposes, the way RVing should be (but, sadly, sometimes is not). Care and attentiveness in selection of an RV park is almost ALWAYS rewarded with a better experience...
